Not bad, but now we have Dawnglow Infusion, which is worlds better than this.

Does no one take into consideration the art, flavour text, the time when these cards were made, or anything other than utility? Everyone's ratings for these cards is based off of a row of words explaining the cards mechanics.

White doesn't have the mana to spare to make this worthwhile. I agree with Weretarrasque. If what you want is variable lifegain, Dawnglow Infusion will do you much better.

Dawnglow Infusion and Stream of Life are both sorceries. If you play either today in hope of gaining life you probably end dead as you will be burned in response. Pre 6th edition you would have had time to gain that life, but not today.

This is an instant and thus can be used in response to the burn. Resolves first and saves you.

Forget rating the card by "Actual Playability". This is FIFTH Edition. Everything but like, the Dual Lands, Serra Angel, Lord of the Pit and Shivan Dragon (only in Limited, EDH, or Casual), and Necropotence is pretty much OBSOLETE, and many of them obsolete many times over.

The only fair way to evaluate 5th Edition cards is to just compare them to Alpha, Antiquities, Arabian Nights, Legends, the Dark, Fallen Empires, Ice Age, and Homelands. I made a mistake on the White Giant of this set and forgot Fallen Empires, Ice Age, and Homelands.

Polar Kraken and Nicol Bolas are how fatties should be judged. There are currently no lands that are both-powerful-and-fair, unless you count the Ice Age painlands, but as they are just overshadowed by the DUALS, they don't count for power at this time.
Homarids are a real Tribal Deck, especially thanks to ... (see all)
