This card doesn't work with Stinkdrinker Daredevil because it doesn't gain Giant type until after it blocks. But, a 4/4 flier for 4 mana makes it good for mono white or multicolor decks.

This card is good only if waiting for another mana to cast Serra Angel or one of the five mana white abominations which came later.

hmm, Giant bird? could work in a R/W, standing next to a Stinkdrinker Daredevil. +1 for tribals.
EDIT: i didn't say to use the goblin to cast it. was just meaning with the types White for Birds, and Red for Giants. so with the goblin your giants wouldn't be the long high cost they normally are. how hard is it to block and make this a giant bird?
