Since it doesn't say as long as it's in play, can this be bounced and recast for multi colored protection?

Ward Sliver has always been a game winner for me. Sure it's 5 mana for a 2/2, but there are so many easy ways to crank out slivers without worrying about mana.

Prot isn't nearly as potent as it used to be nowadays, but it is still a solid contributor to any sliver build.

One of the only ways for Slivers to screw over Nameless Inversion.
