I think reprinting this card would be appropriate, considering flying creatures are both blue and whites thing. Both of which red is suppose to hose.

Im kinda getting tired of seeing lightning bolts all the time in M10 and now M11.

Pretty respectable burn. 4 damage at instant speed is great, and because it can hit players it is never dead, which Flame Slash suffers from.

Sure, it can't hit ground-bound creatures, but I find red decks have more trouble with flying things. The extra point of power is well worth the 1 extra it costs over Lightning Bolt.

The flavor doesn't make sense. Flying creatures should take less damage, since they wouldn't be grounded.

It is much more likely to be hit by lightning if you are flying through the air. Note how you can't even target ground creatures at all.
