Chimney Imp has everything: uber card advantage, a humongous body with evasion, awesome CC that lets you abuse any opponents Tempo, art so epic that you can feel a chill in the spine every time you see it even after the hundreth time, a classy tribal creature type so powerful that shows in all metas, etc, etc.
I once was playing a RG deck against an opponent who played Chimney Imp on turn 12. Obviously my first thought was "i'm a goner", but i tried to make a last move before i was completely defeated. I played Summoning Trap only to luckily find my own copy of Chimney Imp staring at me amongst the 7 cards. I put him into play without a second thought. We both decided that the game would be so complicated to play given the current board that we both conceded the game to both Chimney Imps.

Combos with Merrow Witsnapper and Carrion Feeder for a 7-mana discard, or with Carrion Feeder, Wit's End, Unsummon and Shapeshifter's Marrow to take control of a creature for only 18 mana! Make that 11, if your opponent already has no cards in hand. Wow.

I used to play control with Baneslayers, but then i saw this card randomly in in the gatherer, i am a changed man. at first i was dumbfounded, disbelievling. when i woke up the next day i had to check if what i saw was just a dream, some sort of cruel paradigm of reality. It was real.
I cut white from my deck and added 4 chimney imps, 5 for cusual play. i knew that with his card i would be game planned against and if i couldnt get it down... unthinkable to assume i couldnt play it. I added 39 swamps and 4 coat of arms for good measure and the rise of my impire began.
Just covying my story to you brings moisture to my eyes... if you have this card DO NOT TRADE IT

Just find a good sacrificing card like Attrition (yes, i'm sure there are plenty of better sac'ing alters out there, i just didn't want to look forever) and your opponent can only draw that card he keeps putting down. Best part! you can do that EVERY turn. The end result being your opponent has a withering hand (much like a discard deck) and can't draw any new cards.
