Combo two Chimney Imps with Hell's Caretaker to stall your opponent forever.
Use Mask of the Mimic to get another Hell's Caretaker and use Village Bell-Ringer for infinite combo that sends unlimited number of cards in all opponents hands on top of their library during your upkeep. Sacrifice your Chimney Imp at the opponent draw phase using cards like Mask of the Mimic, High Market, Viscera Seer, Altar's Reap or whatever to lock opponent hand at 0 cards. With that infinite combo you can add Pawn of Ulamog or Dread Drone to spawn unlimited number of fodders to sacrifice and pull all creatures from your graveyard into the battlefield.

I see the derision, the mocking, directed at this humble creature, and I fear. I fear for your lives. You know not the power of that you deride, the raw DESTRUCTIVE POWER at the hands of this seemingly pitiable imp. Oh ho, you do not believe me? Let me demonstrate.
Darksteel Colossus is Ovinized, Leaped, and given +1/+1 by Warrior's Honor, and it is STILL not as good as the Imp.
Don't mock the little 1/2 flyer. You don't know what he'll be at end of turn, what rage he can unleash.
Fear him.

Hard to get a hold of since he became a legacy staple. So easy to break this thing.

@001010011100101110: I don't think it survives Needle Drop. To target it with Drop it has to have already been dealt at least 1 damage, so the another 1 form Drop would kill it dead. Now I'm packing 4 of it in every deck I run, lest I encounter this monstrosity in a game.
Anyway, it's still OP'd as hell. However its 2nd ability is completely useless. Srsly, this being put into a graveyard from play? How often does that happen? It has superb evasion, enough thoughness to survive fighting Storm Crow and is immune to 99.99% of all removal (on you face, Doom Blade! Oh yeah, and that applies to you too, Terror). That if your opponent doesn't concede immediately after you cast it.

I used to think Mirrodin block was a bit overpowered.
Now, I think it's the strongest block ever created.

This with Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker and Mind Slash makes an excellent, excellent combo.

I am literally not even kidding when I say that Chimney Imp is an absolute house in my Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker EDH deck. Well, it was anyway. During my second game, I used Chimney Imp to place an opponent's entire hand on top of their library over a round of 3 to 5 turns, once I did that, I had painted a huge target on my head, so I used the Imp to nullify every other player's draws until I had enough fuel to plow through them all at once.
After I did that, while everyone was picking their cards up, there was a bright flash of light and the entire play group blacked out. When we woke up, we were in an alleyway in Atlanta Georgia. Naturally, I had to replace it with Chittering Rats, but it's just not the same. Some days I think about embracing the Imp's dark power again...
Some day I won't be strong enough to resist...
Some day I'll have to feed the Imp again.
We play next Friday...
