I want a playset, but I bet this card costs more than a Black Lotus. I heard it was up for restriction in vintage for its broken overpoweredness.

People don't rate the card down just because you don't like it. Rate it according to how good it is. This is obviously a 5 star card any competitive Vintage player knows that. Don't rate it down just because you don't like how expensive it is or how much it owns you.

In Vintage you normally see this gem being played alongside Yawgmoth's Will. They sacrifice the Imp, opponent gets mauled by its devastating leaves the battlefield ability, cast the Will and play Chimney Imp from your graveyard, sacrifice it again. That is only 10BlackBlackBlack to make them put two entire cards from their hand on top of their library! Unfortunately, this beautiful creature will be exiled as a result. Easy 5 stars!

@Badmalloc Thats a great idea! Make a proxy and you wont have to pay a ton for it. I''m going to do that right now.

this guy is such an awesome finisher.... he has evasion, he comes out relatively early on turn 5, he provides card advantage if they cast removal on him... I have no idea why this guy isn't a legacy staple.
