I use it in a Voltron EDH deck with Enduring Renewal, Phyrexian Altar and an Ornithoptor.

In this case, I would prefer it to Stonehewer Giant or Steelshaper's Gift.

Strictly worse then Godo, Bandit Warlord, except when you have Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker out.
