To deny your opponent the opportunity to get free stuff:
Use Panoptic Mirror to imprint Cloudshift
Cast Flickerwisp or the much more inexpensive Glimmerpoint Stag, targeting the gate.

Then just flicker your creature each turn with the mirror, making it return to the field right before your upkeep.

I use this card for my artifact-enchantment deck. Without creature, Grafdigger's Cage and this would be great.

This would be really fun to Oblivion Ring and Apocalypse. Just make it Top Decking the game.
