A lot of decks actually can't use the colorless mana at all because they need to deal with whatever you choose to drop on your turn.
Magus of the Vineyard does the same thing with more fragility.

Ramp early, ramp often. (The opportunity to cast Skyshroud Claim on Turn 2 without Sol Ring or Mana Crypt is excellent.)

Whoa, the flavour text makes it sound like The Big E is slippin' Gerrard a li'l something before taking him for some "seclusion" in the vineyard. Gerrard never would look Eladamri in the eye again after that night....

arbor elf, argothian elder, llanowar druid, voyaging satyr, magus of the vineyard, eldamris vineyard with wild growth, overgrowth, and vernal bloom makes for some serious mana ramp, turn 3 and skys the limit, I uusuallly run unyaro bees
