As 'play' has been changed back to 'cast'(1) why hasn't this cards Oracled text changed?
(1) Check for example Isochron Scepter.

@tavaritz If the wording were changed to 'cast' instead of 'play,' you would not draw off a land drop. One does not cast a land.

It just occurred to me, that this card, and Null Profusion, the Time Shifted one, are absolutely positively -NOT- friends with someone else's Notion Thief.
Just because of that I am going to make sure I have a kill spell before I try to go off with this in EDH...
