So I played a Prismatic omen one day and someone plays this at my end step. I was tapped out so naturally i ripped my shirt off and jumped onto the table with murder in my eyes. Thats when my grandma tells me "calm down" and "it's just a game". Thats when I asked her what gave her the right to use color hosers at my table!! (I kid. Grandma quit playing after kamigawa.)
EDIT: Oh sure, 5 star the condense joke (Ok, I admit, I 5 stared it too) but ignore my riviting tale of fury and anger at grandmas weekly magic night. Pffffft. It's ok, I realize my humor is sometimes not well recieved.

Destroys the best basic land in play? At Instant Speed? Great card for the end of the turn after your opponent has tapped out to play what they think is their win condition. Destroys dual land as well. Amazing side-board tech.

Seems like a good sideboard card. 3/5.

If the holes in those fishers' nets are so tiny that the nets can be filled with ash, I'm guessing that'll also be the very first time there actually was something in their nets at all.

Maybe blue did deserve to eat cards like this or Choke back then. Still weird that this thing saw so many reprints, then a pseudo-reprint in Boiling Seas.

I really tend to dislike these cruel color hosers... it's basically just a random "you lose" button. However, I could see this one being necessary with Draw-Go being as nasty as it was.

Good sideboard tech for its time but the thing about cards like this is that they either are completely hosing your opponent or are a wasted deck slot. No wonder you don't see this sort of thing anymore.
