There are better colorless beaters.

That low toughness is what really hurts him. A 6-drop, especially one meant to just be a big lugnut, shouldn't be susceptible to lightning bolt.

To me this card seems a bit weird, To me the main advantage of colorless cards is you can (In theory at least) run them in any deck, But this card is less powerful in any deck but a green deck, In say mono black this card is just a 5/3 for 6cmc, But if you use green he can also get trample, To my mind at least he should be a green card.
(Please note that I am not saying this card is good or bad, I'm just voicing an opinion about card design.)

That's basically his deal, yes. It's a very 'made for limited' kind of card that can be picked by anyone even if they're not in green but really need more creatures - but you get rewarded a little more for being 'on color' for him.

Part of a cycle of golems from Mirrodin, each with a colored activated ability that cost 1C:

White Titanium Golem (first strike)
Blue Cobalt Golem (flying)
Black Pewter Golem (regenerate)
Red Hematite Golem (+2/+0)
Green Malachite Golem (trample)

Darksteel would mirror this with its own Affinity-flavored five:

White Razor Golem (vigilance)
Blue Spire Golem (flying)
Black Dross Golem (fear)
Red Oxidda Golem (haste)
Green Tangle Golem (no ability, just big)

This card's Juggernaut body is unfortunately costed at 6, making it a pretty vulnerable choice for a limited deck at its cost. The low toughness means it trades with many inferior creatures, but can nevertheless fill a spot if you are hurting for size in your draft deck. Trample is a pretty good ability, ... (see all)
