Arcane Laboratory, while having the same function, is preferred by me, simply because blue in itself has more ways to counter/shut down an opponent than white. Although if one plays WU control, either enchantment works out well.

You could also put in knowledge pool and never play cards agian and just use isochron scepter to get around it
