so you spend two cards and four mana to get yourself a new hand with the same number of cards? That is not advantageous unless you have at least two madness cards in hand. Then it might work, if it weren't such a fragile combination.

@Ragamander: That's some silly synergy alright O.o I might even consider building that deck some time ... the idea is cool. Blightning and Barbed Shocker along with some regular burn to clear the blockers could in theory be deadly.
on a second thought ... Blightning reduces your opponent's hand size, so yeah ... Burning Inquiry perhaps?

you actually want this guy T1, via some kind of mox. T2 Dark ritual into Kederekt Parasite, Liliana's Caress, then use your lightning bolt to kill the blocker.
That should be GG when you attack (6 cards in hand => 6 damage from the draw, 1 from the attack, 12 loss from the discard, 1 damage on their draw step from a Kederekt Parasite :D.)
That's a god hand of course, but that's a hell of a god hand :D
