In my lockdown deck when the games go ridiculously long and Im usually stuck with one life, this can really help out because I have about 10 or 11 lands and usually can a wait a turn to cast my spells because no one else can doo anything, like today i was playing a game where I had a 19/19 sphinx of magosi, but one life, which was easily extinguished when the dude bumrushed me with three dinky creatures. I could have activated this and made me a bit more resilient

Would these be the (a)eons that Emrakul tears?

This has saved my skin more than once (then again, so did Golden Urn and Trigon of Mending), and as for the cost; it's in my Myr deck, along with Tower of Calamities and an inf mana combo... Plus lots of land.... And a good number of mana Myr...

Use Blinkmoth Urn to make it playable.

Your missing the brutality of Tower of Eons. Just use Sanguine Bond you can beat almost all life gain decks if you double or triple up on Sanguine Bond. Being a fan of black decks love a pure life generator in my black decks, this is why.

Its very expensive. But if you can ramp into it, could be interesting. 10 life a turn can be like a perpetual fog in 1 card.

I always thought the name Emrakul, the Aeons Torn meant that he was 'torn from the Aeons,' as in ripped from the Aether into reality.

It's obviously ridiculously expensive. But if you ever manage to get it online, it can make the game almost impossible for your opponent to win. You can eventually put enough lands into play to again cast your spells while gaining so much life that you can't die.

Gatherer works better in the Companion app!
