No one else has noticed how hilarious this card's flavor is? It takes the age-old cultural trope of unintelligent beings being obsessed with shiny objects and eternalizes it in card form.
GIMME DA SHINEYS! OOPSY! I STOMPED IT! WAAAAGHH! WHY SHINEY NO WAKE UP!
Keep him away from your Blightsteel Colossus, gentlemen.

Not my style, but if you like aggressive risky cards similar to this, Contested Warzone.

drooling ogre was good for me in a UBR casual demons 'n ogres deck. worked well with borderposts. cool story, I know.

So long as you know your opponent has little or no artifacts, this card is pretty sick.

Whoah. 2 mana for a 3/3 with almost no drawback?

totally underrated card. he's a red sideboardable version of watchwolf.

Put him sideboard. If no artifacts come up, enjoy your 3/3 for 2 with no drawbacks.

pretty good for a red or r/w metalcraft/artifact/equipment deck, but personally I'd rather play Stormblood Berserker instead. But hey, that's just me, this isn't bad for the price in the right deck.

Very similar art to Rustmouth ogre
Makes me want to build a really bad red ogre deck.
