Just that this is mono red removal without limitations is pretty fantastic. Versatility makes it better.

The one key difference between this and other similar spells, missing the word untap. Still its incredibly versatile, and instant speed to boot.

Oh man, I remember using this to kill somebody who was threatening me with a Serra Avatar.

Even with the Avatar taking on my life total as its P/T, it was enough for lethal. Good games with that crowd. I miss them...
