Weird, look at the third ruling...a permanent with no types??
Posted By: izzet_guild_mage (2/19/2010 12:25:28 PM)

No, izzet guildmage is right, look at the rulings. In most cases that would be true, BUT the 3rd ruling specifically says that if it targets an artifact that is only a creature because of March of the Machines, it loses the artifact type and can't be a creature because March of the Machines only makes artifacts into creatures, and is therefore a permanent with no types.

...Therefore making it invulnerable to almost every type of spot removal ever? (damn you, Vindicate!)

Makes your Etherium Sculptor immune to Retract while still allowing you to play Azorius Signet as a mox, Kaleidostone, Elsewhere Flask, Prophetic Prism, Tsabo's Web to find that lethal Brain Freeze or another Retract

Really not a bad uncommon. first ability yes, second one IDK, saves your artifacts when you play a shatterstorm I guess.

if played in a multicolored deck, you could use it to change the color of non blue creatures by turning them into artifacts, then blue creatures, all tho, i cant think of how that would be useful in any possible situation....

@izzet guildmage
it can only target an artifact creature... so its still a creature afterwards.
