Teardrop Kami and Dreamcatcher are both strictly better choices from the same cycle.
Name and artwork are amiable, dramatic flavor text isn't that bad either — but dang, nobody asked for a Fugitive Wizard for Spirit decks!

I think I can say without exaggeration that this is my favorite card from Kamigawa. Sure, I've never, ever put him in a deck, but when I'm riffling through my blue commons and come across this guy, I pause to read the excellent flavor text. I mean, damn, it gets me every time.
And if you want to be snarky, it also has a reasonable cost for its stats, unlike the rest of the block's creatures. Zing!
