Been in the process of moving while I got back into magic have a 7 year hiatus from the game, finally got my old cards out of storage and discovered I had two of these along with some other broken artifacts I had no idea I owned. I only play casually with a couple of friends with no restrictions on what cards we can use so finding these were a nice addition for my deck.

This card+any creature with kinship=epic win. Also, it's pretty much immune to anything that destroys artifacts (naturalize, disenchant, shatter, etc) because you can use its 2nd ability.

I don't consider this quite too game-breaking, though it certainly made games go on for ages.. which is deserving of the ban on its own right.

VERY useful card and quite powerful with Counterbalance. Every EDH deck could use the Top.

Without being countered, this card is beyond indestructible. At the best, you can use Etherium Sculptor and Futere Sight or MAgus of the Future to draw any number of cards during each of your turns. And with Counterbalance you usually win. This card should be banned.

i have a question. If i were to drege 5, and i had a devining top in play, lets say my 5th card on the top of my library is an 'ire of Kaminari' but i don't want it to be dredged, is it posible to, dredge three then in reaction tot he final 2 being dredged to then re order the top 3 cards of my library, and thus be left with the 'ire of kaminari' on top???
i would really like this question answered.

Good sirs, all of your understandings of this card are as flawed as the goals of the kaiser to take over Europe. Your mothers will all be invited over for tea... haha good sirs hoisted by ones own poniard. And soon I shall invoke the wrath of the almighty cow demons, then you shall have something to fear.

@Dohyden: In short, no. Once a spell or ability starts resolving, no one can do anything else until it has resolved. Dredge 5 is all done at once; you can't put another spell or ability on the stack (like top's ability) until all five cards have been dredged.
