Weak on its own, but gets pretty broken with The Mimeoplasm. Have Mimeoplasm enter the battlefield as a copy of this thing with twelve +1/+1 counters from a Phyrexian Dreadnought. Proceed to start removing counters for unblockability. Hits for 11, then hits for 10, death in two turns.

This could have been pretty good with Vigilance. As it is it blocks for a while and builds up to a bomb, not bad for 2 mana.
