Useful with just about every discard spell. You'll wind up with alot of card advantage. I mean; you're adding a Divination's effect to Hymn to Tourach, meaning you'll reap 3 card advantage for 2 mana!

Works nicely with Megrim and Wheel of Fate.

so, SO good. with a few of these in your deck any discard deck becomes a draw deck as well. best part is that it says "may" so you dont have to over draw and then discard.

Huh, why was this never used as an answer to Astral Slide? How odd...

Nath of the Gilt Leaf's diary. Splendid!

This belongs with Liana's Caress, Liliana Vess, and Chandra Ablaze.
Fill the rest of the deck with burn spells and you have an incendiary card draw engine. Chandra's wheel of fortune/burning inquiry turns into a blighting storm!
Reckless Scholar is pretty nice too.

Combos very well with a Consecrated Sphinx and Words of Waste lockdown set-up. Load up with extraction spells like Thoughtseize or Inquistition of Kozilek and make use general discard likeMind Twist and they'll have no choice but to scoop.

Makes me think of Consult the Necrosages. It makes the choice for you.
Raven's Crime would go great with this too.

Really useful. With the right shenanigans this nets an awesome card advantage.
Anvil of Borgadan, Delirium Skeins or Cunning Lethemancer for instance works great with this in a discard deck with Megrim or Liliana's Caress.
When combined with Words of Waste, your opponent won't be able to keep any cards on hand, and if you have the possibility to draw on his/her turn (e.g. with Mind's Eye). this will even create a lockdown.
