Used to be Mogg Maniac's best buddy back in the day. Also, try him with an Invasion Plans out.

Like mrredhatter so perfectly said, with Daru Spiritualist, you have all clerics at a perma X/INFINITE

@Infylol: Livewire lash specifies it being a spell. not a spell or ability, just a spell.

Good evening everyone. All expert comments are welcomed if there are any errors made during this turn phase exchange.
A game of MTG, green deck against white deck.
The issue is redirecting a substantial amount of damage in such a way as to eventually have all damage pilled-up on a single creature from a single source that is not in the combat, and then prevent the damage in mass.
The green attack is a line of larger creatures; Gorilla Berserkers (grn) 2/3 trample, rampage 2, Enormous Baloth (grn) 7/7, Vastwood Gorger (grn) 5/6, and a One Dozen Eyes (grn) 5/5 Beast token. *** In support is instant Emerald Charm (grn) Wall of Resistance (wht): - … loses flying until the end of turn and Venomspout Brackus (grn) 5/5: - … deals 5 damage to Spirit en-Kor (wht)… blocking creature with flying.
The white’s last stand is: Wall of Resistance (wht) 0/3 flying Mobilization Enchantment (wht) 1/1 Soldier token, Shaman en-Kor (wht) 1/2 - 0: Redirect 1 damage from… and 2: Redirect to…, Spirit e... (see all)

If Someone attacks me with a 50/50 can I pay the 0 mana 50 times to redirect all 50 damage to other clerics that can prevent one/two damage at a time so I take no damage.

My friend made a pretty sweet cleric deck that uses the infinite life combo and I am trying to understand it completely, so a few questions if you all don't mind. I understand that one could play the ability and give his/her cleric +0/+2, let it resolve then do it again and again, then play the starlit sanctum for life. Now, if someone decided to use one stack and do the ability over and over then use the starlit sanctum in the same stack, would the +0/+2 abilities resolve or would they only get life based on the original toughness do to the other abilities not resolving?
Another question I have, my friend mentioned that "the game action of the sacrificing the creature starts a new stack and the life gaining ability is on that stack", is this true or would it just fall into the current stack that is taking place?
Thank you all in advance for any information you can provide.
