Wow. Not much bad to say about this. This works well in almost any white deck, especially soldier decks.

Honor of the Pure can go online two turns earlier; it can start boosting power as soon as you cast it on your second turn and attack with your Elite Vanguard. This guy has a CMC of 3 and comes out with summoning sickness, so you can reliably get it to start boosting on the fourth turn. It also doesn't defend against Tremors and Volcanic Fallout like Honor of the Pure does. Nor does this card help while blocking.
But that doesn't mean that it isn't a very good card worthy of consideration in an aggressive white deck, because it's an essentially unblockable creature and white doesn't have many of those.

Good in any deck that likes to attack - particularly ones that use unblockable or Shadow creatures to get through the opponent's defense and score hits every turn.

I wonder, in an aggressive white deck, is this better than Honor of the Pure? It effectively does the same thing except pings for 2 every turn. Though it is vulnerable to creature removal.

Good card, but I can't say I'm a fan of the art.

Love this card. Shadow is the perfect complement to an ability which makes you want to attack.
