@Azuredrake89: Back in the day, combat damage went on the stack; its ability allowed it to kill creatures in combat while still having a 50% of avoiding a trade.
But yeah, its ability is much worse now. It's much more likely to be hit with Wrath of God or Pyroclasm than with targeted removal, but its 50% survival rate is still relevant there. Other than that, it's decent at getting Chance Encounter up and running (stack the abilities; you'll keep flipping even after it is returned or sacrificed).
Regardless, I wish it had haste.

Why would I ever want to return this? Your opponent is unlikely to terror this so why even bother with a 50/50 chance of getting your bad rare back to your hand? The idea and flavor text are kinda funny but that's about it.

So back in the day, you had the same chance of opening a Tolarian Academy as you did this thing.

An Urza's Saga rare that isn't ridiculously overpowered. I guess they DO exist.

This ability just means that it has a 50% chance of not dying to removal. But it is still poorly costed and weak. It's not the ability that makes it bad. The art is quite funny, though.
