The one problem with this being an actual Power dwindle is that when this card came out it was considered a power creep. Because Craw Wurm had been out for quite some time and this card was strictly better then it.

Top marks for the flavour text, the creature is quite good as well

This one gets a five because of the art and flavor text

A Craw Wurm with trample, obviously. This makes for a significant improvement over the original.
3.5/5

This Wurm is in 2011. Looks like power dwindle is gone.

A good example for the almost unknown phenomenon "power dwindle": This one hasn't replaced Craw Wurm in core sets. :-)

@Josherz, it's the idea of the creatures in MTG getting weaker with time. There is a card from a later set called Craw Wurm, that has the same cost, and same stats, but does not have Trample (making it weaker). It's generally pretty rare, as typically in a game as old as MTG you'd expect cards to get stronger with time.

The flavors and flavor text in Urza's block were awesome! Bring back THAT creative team (just leave the R&D team there. We don't need that happening again..)!
