@Dannyman: The important point is that Price of Glory means your opponent can't deny you the mana by tapping their land because said land will then explode.
Anyway, this is handy in multiplayer still because it lets you borrow one opponent's mana to nuke another opponent. It can also simply be used to prevent counterspell shenanigans.

A potential fix might be:
Until end of turn, you may tap lands you don't control for mana, and you may spend mana from other players' mana pools. Spend this mana only to cast spells.
