Would be extremely lulzy to play with an Ornithopter. Colorless two-card Birds!

Don't be fooled - it doesn't speed up your mana curve like a birds of paradise.
Also, a rather lovely picture.

Good card. Staple in my no land affinity deck. 4/5

Also very useful in a casual merfolk deck with cards such as stonybrook schoolmaster and fallowsage. Or any creature with a 'when xxx becomes tapped, do something cool' effects. Get the bonus for the tap ability and get a mana to cast another spell.

Except it costs 2 cards and takes one of your turn 2 mana, and its much worse if its killed. Almost the same though

Equip 0 would be imbalanced, because you could just get 5 or less creatures, tap them all for whatever mana you need along with your lands, then easily cast out 5 colour stuff
This is a cheap mana fixer for 5 colour decks, and its also a 0 mana artifact that can be used as part of combos

I can't wait to get this card. When I equip it to either my patrol signaler or Silkbind Faerie, it'll only cost me {1} to put a token into play/tap a creature. If I add in Heartstone or Mana Reflection, that's infinite taps/tokens; however, that's no fun to me because then it's practically game over already, I like to keep things fun.
