I think I'd rather take two extra turns with Time Stretch for ten mana.

@monchie: Day of the Dragons will be shuffled but the exiled cards won't. However, this will still trigger Day of the Dragons. Remember all the shuffling happens at one time, so the exiled cards will go back to the battlefield, but won't be shuffled again.

This is really expensive for an emergency redo button.

@NeverendingDream,
The point of the EDH official "banned" list is to take out cards that take away some of the enjoyment in the format. In a format where you start at 4 life, this resets the board with 7 life. If you are running Jhoria, you can suspend a creature with power equal to or greater than 7 to kill someone the turn this hits play since you get to pick the order of play. The second reason is most likely not the reason it is "banned" in EDH, it is not very fun (apparently) to play against in EDH. It should be noted that the EDH "banned" list is a recommended list of cards to be banned in a social setting where not everyone is close friends etc.

@ monchie13
those cards are exiled, the card says "permanents", thats when theyre on the battlefield.
so exiled cards will stay exiled...
thats why i use it with suspend! suspended cards stay exiled with time counters!

It states," permanents he or she owns" I have a question, if perchance someone has a Day of Dragons on the field l- does that mean when this spell resolves, tje whole army that was removed with day of dragons returns? or will the player have to shuffle the removed creatures, since he "owns them"

Anyone know why this is banned in edh? Seems worse than Obliterate for Jhoira shenanigans, and worse than windfall/time spiral/time reversal for combo
