At first glance the first ability might look very specific and rather negligible, but given that there are eight legendary snakes in total, this card is quite useful in a snake tribal deck.
The cards are Shizuko, Caller of Autumn; Sakiko, Mother of Summer, Sasaya, Orochi Ascendant (although this one suits not that good in a common snake deck); the Seshiro family (Seshiro the Anointed; Sashi, Daughter of Seshiro and Sosuke, Son of Seshiro);Shidako, Broodmistress when flipped from Orochi Eggwatcher; and Shisato, Whispering Hunter.
(Being a Warrior, he's especially good in teaming up with Sosuke.)

Curious. I've seen lots of Legendaries that buff their Type, but this is the first time I've seen a normal that buffs legendaries.
