I'm thinking that the card stays super-exiled even after the game is restarted.
This is, of course, purely speculation. Half the fun in playing with Unhinged cards is arguing with your friends over how they interact with other cards.

Someone recently asked MaRo, the Un-Rules Manager, about this on his tumblr account and he responded that this would not happen. Apparently AWOL actually creates a new zone, and like the old "removed from the game" that was turned to exile, it isn't "removed from the game" enough for the purposes of a Wish. I think it would be more fun if a wish could get it, but then the point of the card - to absolutely remove the card from the game - is defeated if wishes could get them back. This also makes me think that an AWOL'd card would not be returned to a library if the game was restarted with Karn Liberated.

@SleetFox: That doesn't actually stop the Misthollow Griffin. What you probably want is:
Exile target attacking creature. For the rest of the game, if it would leave the exile zone it instead does not leave the exile zone.

with R&D's secret lair, this makes a card impossible to play with- forever. not just in the current game, but it's completely useless for all eternity.
