It's funny how the converted mana cost works out to be exactly Disentomb/Raise Dead and then summoning the creature normally. Sorcery speed, so no combat trick. I think that means this card's only real purpose is to cheat out off-color things. I still like it though.

@Test-Subject_217601: For those small creatures, Unearth is the card of choice.
So one should either use that for the cheap, or something like Zombify for the more expensive ones.
(In eternal formats, at least.)
Pity this one wasn't worded so it could work with creatures that have an X cost...but that would probably have looked a bit messy.

@Threepwud: Yes, it will have Summoning Sickness. Once a creature enters the battlefield, even if it had been there before, it's considered an entirely new permanent and such has Summoning Sickness, triggers ETB effects, etc.

Unless you plan on ressurecting a lot of 2 or less cmc creatures, Zombify is probably the better choice.

Not sure about it being that powerful, just Raise Dead it then pay it's costing cost, same thing unless you are worried about color. Then this could be nice. But again, Zombify would solve that problem too.

You do realize that this is one fourth of profane command, right? In fact this is the most often chosen part of the command. Paying 4-5 to get back a utility creature that does something good when it comes into play (Nekrataal, faceless butcher, shriekmaw, skinrender, puppeteer clique.) is a great use of a card.
