It is a good finisher playing against decks I know. It is always fun guessing. Blazing away with fire was never my style. I like the less obvious red stuff. Just that, given its flavor, I am surprized it is not blue and red. Blue for the mind, red for the blaze.

Omg why is this card so bad? I was expecting 'and each creature they control' at the end, and had to reread the card like 3 times to see that it is indeed that bad.
After ALL that work, you get an 8 damage lava axe for 1 more mana. WTF!?!

I always lose it when I see "reveals his or her library". I would play this just to annoy my opponent with having to show all of us each and every card they have in there. The card kinda sucks otherwise but damn it is funny to think about.

would be so awesome in edh if they didn't print it as a 6 mana for x damage burn spell... that red can so easily do a lot better with.
3 mana maybe, and it would have been an acceptable card that still wouldn't see much play in edh, but it would have still been worthwhile. At it's cost :/
