Works in Colorless EDH... Which I suppose is something we should not be promoting :/

Even if you took out the comes into play tapped and the pay 2 life, it probably would still only be played in decks designed around legendary cards.

This would be usable in a few decks if it didn't come into play tapped. Giving it both drawbacks on top of its limitation was extreme overkill.

@ JarieSuicune: I love building around bad cards, but this isn't even an interesting bad card. There are just too many restrictions, because wizards rightfully worries about lands that tap for more than one mana. A land that taps for for legendaries would be cool. Even with the two life, it would be cool. But coming out tapped really makes it too slow and conditional. Colorless EDH can use this because... they have limited options. Everyone else can stick with lands that tap for colorless the turn they come out and do better. This card isn't good, or fun or interesting.
That said, its better than Sorrow's Path, not sure why it is rated worse. This is the worst rated land on gatherer.

I have a foil copy of this card signed by John Avon. It's the best, worst card I own.

Discard this with Urza's Hot Tub to fetch Jace, the Mind Sculptor.
There, I found a use for this card!
