Turn 2: Torpor Orb
Turn 3: This guy.
Honestly, though, the drawback isn't that big a deal for something with this power level. 5 1/1 tokens with no evasion is annoying, but not crippling. I imagine this in Edric EDH. Give them to someone and tell him to swing at a mutual enemy to draw cards. Then you get your unblockable guy to swing for more cards.

I immediately thought of this card when I saw Illness in the Ranks.

Echoing Truth would take care of the tokens and you don't have to plan around the legend rule.

Does a lot of damage with blood seekers and poisonbelly ogres in play.

Yes, I'm building a deck around them, actually. Terror is definitely a concern here, but I'd have either a counterspell-on-tap or a bounce-on-tap waiting around before I presented any swamp-using opponents such an oppurtunity.
I guess I just can't leave too many comments in praise of Energy Field. Oh well, they deserve it.

play with leyline of singularity, it is in color, and the 5 goblin tokens will smack eachother and the "drawback" is gone, even better if your opponent also made a goblin token, siege-gang comander for example or even just a mogg war marshal

Fictionarious loves those Energy Fields. However, a simple Terror nets a 2 for 1 for your opponent.
