Not only that, but this is sooooo sweat in a deck with DoJ.

So big to maximize the cost/statics ratio, 4 life to gain tempo, and a regeneration ability to hose mass removal. Just a great valuable creature! Solid and powerful, one of the best GreenWhite creature, and one of the few that I like (I usually dislike GreenWhite...)
And great art, too!

Better than Ravenous Baloth in the life gain, because this is easier to abuse with Flicker effects and bounce (unless you have a beast deck, so Ravenous Baloth in that contest is better, maybe).
Obstinate Baloth maybe is better as sideboard material...

Good with Novablast Wurm: Sacrifice him, then attack with the wurm to keep all of your creatures.
