@Mode: Regarding Wizards' fear of Chimney Imp's trigger - I think their caution is quite justified, actually. I was actually getting ready to direct you to Chittering Rats to compare... and then I saw that you had already been there!
Anyway, I think that this ability is best used rarely, because in the right deck it can act sort of like a Time Walk. If your opponent is having problems already and you manage to sacrifice this guy, you've made them lose their turn. If you're in a multiplayer game and ALL of your opponents are looking for some kind of topdeck, you've made them ALL lose their next turn. The mechanic feels similar to Plow Under, on a smaller scale, and I think making it hit you too is the only way that it can hit multiple people at its cost. The little guy has 3 power, too, so he's no slouch.
Putting aside the question of his effectiveness, I like his art, his name, his flavou... (see all)

WIzards seems to be really afraid of the potential from Chimney Imp's trigger when regarding this fellow, given that he is cheaper but affects each player...sigh.
If this was at least a cip/etb trigger you could turn the drawback into an advantage by using "top card matters"-cards (although not urgently those with Clash-effects)
Or you could try to make use of this with Hellbent cards (which was possibly even the intention behind the ability when keeping in mind that the ability comes from the third block of this cycle)
And in case you already have no cards in hand, you won't regret not putting a card on top of your library either. The bad thing is, the same might be true for your opponent...
Overall i wouldn't use this card in constructed, but i'd love to see this trigger on a 1/1 one-drop.

Seriously people? just sac him with Vivisection when that's the last card you have in your hand.
Not only will you kill people's next turn, but you get 3 free cards from draw on top of it. Killing him like that, seems like it would be worth the from Vivisection. To me, at least.

I wonder If I could make this work with the new Miracle mechanic in AVR... although then again, I'd probably rather find a way to get Bringer of the Black Dawn out.

So he's a Human Wizard, eh?... He looks like more of a Skeleton Guitarist if you ask me. (If you think about it you'll totally see it)

When I first saw the art, I thought that the drill he was holding was an electric guitar!

Great way to abuse the miracle mechanic. Run a deck with this guy and sac him with a Bonfire of the Damned or a Reforge the Soul.

Play him after a second turn Mindshrieker for a large swing when he goes down and a drawseal on your opponent.
