For an uncommon, and an ability that can target lands, a very well balanced card.

Let's see, according to the mana cost:
2 blue mana=boomerang
1 black mana=volrath's motion sensor (sort of)
1 colorless mana=transmute
What's not to like?

A very useful combination of effects at a fair cost and the transmute ability adds to it's already great utility.

Reminds me of Undermine.

This is not bad. I think unsummon might be better (remember, you can use it on your own creature) but all in all it's pretty good.

Utilitarian but expensive. 4 mana may be too much.

Yes, I play this as a second copy of my Jace, the Mind Sculptor in my Wrexial, the Risen Deep EDH deck. Or some emergency removal...Always nice to return someone's General to their hand.

Great example of Ravnica Classic's suite of awesomely balanced cards I guess - so rare not to see anyone arguing, frothing over or bemoaning it in the comments.
