@godmetal101 and Trygon_Predator - There's really no reason to give it vigilance, since you're very probably not going to be attacking with this (barring certain reasons...Overrun for example)...it can't buff itself, so it's really only good for defending and its ability.
With the ramp available to green and the ability to untap (in both colors), there's no reason not to play this if you're allowed; the increase in P/T is incredible and it can help power other fun (Power Conduit springs to mind). Hell, with a Rule of Law out, there's a way to use the probable excess mana you've got there.

@Arachnos: Cheating out creatures with Elvish Piper will not trigger this card's ability, since you have to cast the spell in order to be able to pay the "additional cost."

Love the idea of this card. But never once has it ever done me any good. The game is either over or too out of hand for a creature coming into play with a few counters to turn it around... 2/5 stars. But still looks nice in the Selesnya section of my gold binder....

Mana cost is not such a great issue when playing green. Elvish Piper anyone? That or any of the army of mana producers green has. Plus don't tell me it wouldn't be hilarious to see this:
"My Ornithopter hits you for 8, gg"
@Keiya: I mostly meant Elvish Piper for cheating this thing itself out, since it costs an obscene amount of mana with white in it.

It's better than Emmara Tandris.
