This is a pretty nice plains, the art isn't quite as bland or drab as many other printings I have seen.

This is my favorite Plains printing. After all these years, the color fading and low contrast from the original printing actually improves the card's look, in my opinion.

If you actually think for a second just how good lands are to the game, it's pretty incredible. In a fast game, you might be getting WhiteWhiteWhiteWhite from this one baby plains.

In a long one, maybe modern, perhaps you get WhiteWhiteWhiteWhiteWhiteWhiteWhiteWhite or thereabouts.

In friggin' edh? You might get a good WhiteWhiteWhiteWhiteWhiteWhiteBlackBlackWhiteWhiteWhiteWhiteWhiteWhiteBlueWhiteWhiteWhiteWhite.

Black because in EDH someone ALWAYS changes your lands to swamps (and sometimes to islands).


So annoying.
