Bird Maiden. After Birds of Paradise , one of the first creatures in Magic with a two-word creature type. Which begs the question: Back then, was each word considered a seperate creature type (as it is now), or was it all considered one big creature type?

I don't think it mattered as much then, since all the cards with two-word creature types weren't things with referred to creature types (no bird tribal back then). But I'm not sure. I think it was just one creature type.

The two printings of Bird Maiden in Arabian Nights don't have accurate pictures here. They use the poorer colored version on both pictures. In reality one of the printings had more vivid colors (the {2} colorless mana symbol is much easier to read).
