Interesting fact: this is the only Faerie card that requires red mana to summon. Maybe with Return to Ravnica, we'll see more Izzet faeries.

Actually like this more then Kiln Fiend, that little bit of evasion make all it more worth while in my storm pauper deck.

@Guest: Just to help any readers who might try and find out what card you're referring to, by Rage you meant Psychotic Fury. But you are right, that and Schismotivate are sweet with this guy. I also like Gigadrowse; yes, the replicate doesn't give additional bonuses, but with enough mana that and Psychotic Fury let you swing for 12 points of damage when you tap all of their fliers or reach creatures.

I like so much the "instant and sorcery matter" subtheme in the Izzet guild, but i't a pity that doesn't interact very well with the Replicate ability!
However, this is one of the best card in the guild, sometimes it's undervalued by your opponent that leave you the time to bring at least an attack. It's so easy to pump this little faerie, that is embarrassing how many damages it can deals... Blue spells to draw more spells, and red spells to get rid of opponent's defense, and without any combo it deals easily 5/7 damages each turn...
For me, even a 5/5 isn't exaggerated...

I swung with one of these for 24 once, seething song + grapeshot + entwined savage beating. One of my favourite card ever.

The Draganouts may as well go down as one of the funnest creatures in the game. I have never not had a good time while playing the little fellows, who pump with cheap instants and swing for embarrassingly large numbers. They may not have taken off in standard in comparison to better decks/cards, but the 'psycho-nauts' deck based around them and pingers should go on to live on kitchen tables for years to come.
