the flavor text says niv mizzet, you just have to tap it so you can read it.

Even if Curiosity did not have the 'may' keyword, it would still not be an infinite combo. Niv can do 1 damage to himself at any time, ending the chain of card-draws.
I love the flavor and usefulness of this card. He is like a Johnny's wet dream

Niv Mizzet the combo mind. His triggered ability has so many strong interactions.

Is that a real formula? In the flavor text, is that a second derivative? lol man this dragon is smart. And infinite damage combo for the win!

This guy has to be best friends with Arcanis the Omnipotent. Because they work like a killing machine together. If you can manage a Thought Reflection, your opponent is all kinds of dead. I love this card, easily my favorite dragon ever.
Also is very thematic when played with Spellbound Dragon.
5/5

Combine with Rush of Knowledge for a minimum of 6 cards and 6 damage to your opponent, assuming Niv is your highest costed permanent.
Combine this with OUR GREAT LORD EGOTIST for 8 cards and 8 damage instead.
For hilarity, combine it with Gleemax for a hilarious draw (assuming that the amounts of cards in your library is superior to the amount of life your enemy has).
