They obviously knew they were introducing the Planeswalker card type when they designed this card, which is why it doesn't reference permanents like the original Eureka does. There's also the mention of said card type on Tarmogoyf.

This card was the keystone in "Hypergenesis Cascade" in the Pro-Tour Quarterfinals in Austin, TX, in 2009.
You can read about the really cool deck this created here:

@Kontrah, I like the idea but since Hypergenesis is still resolving when you put down your creatures, the Cloudstone triggers don't resolve until after Hypergenesis is done resolving. (check out the official rulings)

Every card in Time Spiral was a throwback to at least one previously printed card.

This card references Eureka and is part of a cycle of rares featuring the Suspend mechanic and having no mana cost, forcing you to suspend them as the primary way to cast them. The cards all callback to one of the color's most powerful spells ever; the others are Ancestral Vision, Wheel of Fate, Restore Balance, Living End, and Lotus Bloom.

As these cards have no mana cost, they must be suspended to be played from your hand, but abilities such as Cascade treat these cards as if their converted mana cost is 0, allowing you to skirt around suspend and play them immediately!

@ greenpearce: no. hypergenesis doesn't let you cast the spells, which wild pair requires.

Finally a good way to use Tempting Wurm! Or any number of huge Eldrazi. Or trap people with Nevinyrral's Disk or Magus of the Disk.

I love this card. I play a casual Green deck with almost no instants or sorceries. This card is basically "turn 6: lay down your hand"

Everyone faints.
