Each Time Spiral card was an homage to at least one previously printed card.

This card references Sengir Bats; since Magic's first set to the appearance of a whole coven of Sengir vampires in Homelands including the Baron himself, Sengir has been the name in vampirism. Nosferatu is not an invented word either; it is actually the name of the first vampire film ever made http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nosferatu

Ah, a vamp that can turn into a bat, a classic, nice to see.

Death Match and this is really nice. Each turn, do four damage simply by attacking, since it's flying, then pay 4 mana to give any two creatures -3/-3. Dire Undercurrents for continuous discard. Hamletback Goliath, Pandemonium, all kinds of combo possibilities.

Very nice, this is the 1st vampire with the ability to turn into bats commonly perceived by people.

Also, there is no restriction on what the tokens can bring back (copies can be created and you can use the copies to bring the exiled card back)

4.5/5

Trippy with Parallel Lives/Doubling Season. (Dual Nature would make things just plain silly.)

You could presumably spawn a bat army, and then make use of spells that require exiling creatures you control. Food Chain? City of Shadows? Soul Exchange? Sword of the Ages? Leyline of the Void (and maybe a sac engine)?

This guy is very hard to kill as long as you have some mana in store...lovley!

Playing it "correctly" is not exactly worth its mana, but it's still got a lot of neat gimmicks that can be played with it. It can shed Pacifism and Narcolepsy, and it can abuse effects that trigger when creatures come into play as well.

Plus, the flavor. It's awesome.
