It's a fine card. Nice little attacker when your opponent has no creatures, good blocker if they have some random enchantment (usually oblivion ring). I loved playing it when the other guy was on the draw back in standard. My turn two unicorn would make them keep their turn two Bitterblossom in their hand until they found an answer.

Why, yes, I will block your non-trampling Blanchwood Armored creature, then sacrifice my unicorn to blow up your aura before damage is dealt.

When I first pulled this card from a booster I thought the title said Ronin Unicorn. While it didn't last long, for that briefest of moments I held the most badass card ever conceived in my hand.

Probably the best Unicorn card ever, which isn't saying much. A solid bear, with a rather useful ability.

I typically prefer Kami of Ancient Law, if only because of the spirit type. A great card, and one that I'm surprised to sometimes end up making a key play with just because I can sacrifice him at any time, since his ability requires no tapping or extra mana. It's important for things like your opponent trying to kill it with a spell like Lightning Helix, because you can prevent them from gaining the three life.
