This card goes well with all Echo creatures, since Echo creatures tend to be cheaper cost, have comes into play effect, and most importantly dies on its own, using the recover cost would be readily available.

Played an EDH game tonight against a guy who had this and Fleshbag Marauder at the same time. It was brutal.

Cast Harvest, get a dude back. Cast Marauder, sac him to his own trigger and make everyone else sac a dude, Recover Harvest. Next turn Harvest for the Marauder, cast Marauder again, Recover the Harvest...rinse and repeat ad nauseam. Nasty.

This is easily my favourite Pauper card.

This card absolutely destroys permission. A little bit mana-costly, but in the long-term it is very difficult to attrition against this card.

I find recover *really* hard to use in general, it's really mana-intensive and designed for the long game. Great in G/B since you will likely get enough mana to make good use of it.

Awesome utility card, recurs your dead dudes and works great with evoke and comes-into-play abilities. Not to mention it gives you more resilience against counterspells. Great!

Graveyard retrieval that can be retrieved from the graveyard when something hits the graveyard (and you might want to retrieve it).

So much synergy- I love it.

I hate playing against this card when I don't main board graveyard hate, so annoying with martyr of sands and even worse in Elder Dragon Highlander. So I guess it is a good card since it vexes me so much.

@Blobman: no, the thing actually is that this card is reusable. So, while Disentomb may be 1 cheaper, this offers you card advantage. Also, in a dredge deck you could fish this out of your graveyard if you end dredging it by accident. And it's an Instant, so you can spend your spare mana on it at the end of an opponent's turn.
Not saying it's the best card ever, but it's still a nifty little trick to pull in casual or multiplayer.

On a side note, am I the only one who notices how well Void Maw works with recover?

For a Coldsnap common, it's not bad.
