Pretty powerful; I'd even call it underrated. In a mono white deck, you'll always be playing white spells, so you will frequently be given opportunities to use this for free. And if you don't have any spells, well then you can always hard cast it, especially since you don't have a better play.
If you can get 2 enchantments with this one card, especially if you can screw up combat with it, you've just won card advantage, decimated the field, and you didn't even have to pay any extra mana.
The downside, of course, is that it will hit your own enchantments, so don't put it in a deck that uses a lot of them.

It is a white card though so... Sneak in some Boros and the newer Phyrexia/Mirrodin red or whites for cool stuff.

Most of the time this card will be free. Interesting design, cool art, nice effect. I love it in EDH to (partially) remove some Voltron-buffs that everyone throws down. Also, based on the art and flavor, is this a card that may be present in Innistrad? 4/5

has anyone stopped to think of using this alongside phyrexian white cards like apostle's blessing? it just occurred to me this could be used as enchantment hate in red and black decks without resorting to splashing another mana color.
