Yes, he is both. Mana paid has no effect on the color, only mana symbols. Just like if you paid Blue for him in the 1 slot, he isn't considered Blue in any form. BUT, he doesn't see his own casting. Meaning, his ability isn't active when he is cast so he won't be a 4/4 when he comes out. Another Nightsky would trigger the first one though.

By far the most effective Mimic with its Demigod Enchantment.
Swinging for 7 by turn 3?
WITH evasion?
Yeah, it was hard to stand a chance with this guy,
Especially if your opponent brought out Deathbringer Liege.
B/W in Shadowmoor was just insane.
